The cutest fuzz balls you know. Toys will only last a moment but their educations will last forever.
The donation button will lead you to Brightstart, Ivy and Levi's 529 plans. If the link expired, please contact the parents.
To show your love to Ivy and Levi! They will not remember the toys that you want to give but the education that they receive will stay with them for life. You are helping them pay for their education so that they can enter the world with less financial burden. As an incentive, I send you an exclusive photo of them wearing graduation caps!
To put it simply, a 529 is a college savings plan. It offers tax-free growth and tax-free withdrawals when funds are used to pay for qualified education expenses.
They include tuition and fees, books and materials, room and board, computers and related equipment, internet access and special needs equipment for students attending a college.
We chose a moderate age-based plan. It will take the funds and invest aggressively in stocks while they are young while putting a small portion into bonds just in case. The older they gets, the less aggressive they will invest in stocks. By the time they hits 18, most of their funds should be in bonds or cash.
No. Funds may be used at eligible schools nationwide and even some foreign schools too.
There's multiple options. We can always hold the fund in case they ever change their minds. If they do not want to go to college, we can transfer the beneficiary to someone else who would use it towards their education. Worst case scenario, we can always withdraw the funds for any other expense however the earnings would be subject to federal and sometimes state income tax.
